Smiles was founded in 2003 originally as a shoppers creche. After six months it became evident that our clients wanted full daycare. Smiles was re-registered with Ofsted as a Full Daycare facility and has grown from there.

Will so many facilities around us we make use of the Natural History Museum, the Holytrees museum, the library. Our children go on outings to the Zoo, on the open-top bus, to Mistley Park to see the animals, on a train to Wivenhoe and this spring term we have started our outdoor classroom, having sessions outside on a regular basis in Highwoods Country Park, which has been a great success.
